Los Angeles, California (Part 1) HIKING TO ANGELS POINT

I had the pleasure visiting California earlier this month, both Los Angeles and San Francisco (via Oakland). I have to admit that I had a blast! It was really fun just walking around exploring things with my camera without any concrete plans as such. A couple weeks before I set off on my trip I actually decided to video record my experience of California in kind of a vlog style first person format and then upload it (once edited) in a future blog post here on my website. So with that in mind I set off traveling taking photographs and videos as I went along.

Prior to my arrival I was searching online for some interesting (small) trails to hike up in the L.A area since I was going to be there for a little while. I found a place called Angels point near the Dodgers Stadium which is relatively close to Downtown L.A on the bus. I hiked up the hills as the sun began to set and by the time I reached the top I didn't have that much daylight left. What I found at the very top of Angels point was a type of landscape view that I'm not entirely used to. The foreground section was full of natures green wonders and the background was the archetypal architectural vast city scape.

Soon I'll be uploading part 2 of my experiences in Los Angeles which includes some 'spur-of-the-moment' night photography that I decided to do with some palm trees and vehicle lights on my way back to the hostel from Angels point.

But for now, have a great week and take care!
